Can we have a closer zoom or greater resolution? The transition from pixellated to non-pixillated looks interesting. Also, it would be interesting if the pixels were outlined in black, like mosaic tiles or LCDs.

As the picture is infinitely recursive, zooming in would pretty much look the same as the default image, just with a pallet change - it doesn't actually translate to non-pixellated as it goes down (Every 2 iterations I'd zoom would look exactly the same).

I may re-render it at a larger resolution sometime though

I was originally thinking of adding a slight black border to the pixels, but sadly it doesn't translate well - as the image goes further down, the borders actually end up blurring the image - although I may give it a shot if I render it larger
